Antifa is at it again. Over the weekend, several people were beaten by these criminals. Independent journalist Andy Ngo was beaten to the point where he suffered a brain bleed. John Blum, an older gentleman was beaten with a crowbar and Adam Kelly was beaten with what one witness described as a sock with a padlock. Blum and Kelley were reportedly beaten while trying to help a gay man who was being chased down the street. Why were these Antifa thugs chasing a gay man? One would think an Antifa rally would be a safe space for a gay man. Then again, Andy Ngo is gay and we saw how that worked out for him. I guess he’s just not the right kind of gay man. Blum and Kelly were actually there for a “Him Too” event. “Him Too” is a movement to support male victims of sexual assault and men falsely accused of sexual assault and rape. Why they were there though is irrelevant. What is relevant is that the violence visited against these people is tacitly endorsed by the left.
That’s right, I said tacitly endorsed. As of this writing, the only Democrat candidate I have heard condemn this attack is Andrew Yang. No one in a leadership role in the democrat party has condemned this. Why would they? They label conservatives as Nazis and anyone who doesn’t agree with their ideology must not be allowed to voice their opinion. I don’t think anti-fascist means what these geniuses think it means. I know that none of them are going to read this, but for the record, fascism is a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism. Read that last part again: “Forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism.” These thugs are not anti-fascists; they are anti-free speech. But Andy Ngo, who has been critical of Antifa in the past, was actually publicly warned prior to the event that he would be attacked. When he showed up, he was brutally beaten and hospitalized. Is there a better illustration of forcible suppression of opposition and criticism? I’ll wait. But no one on the left is denouncing this attack because they have been engaged in it for a while now. Maxine Waters told them to get in the faces of Trump cabinet members and supporters. The technical arm of the democrat party has been suppressing conservative voices for by demonetizing conservative channels and algorithmically suppressing the appearance of those channels and content creators in search results. They have been shadowbanning or outright banning conservative accounts. The militant arm of the democrat party beats the opposition with crowbars and bike locks and sets fire to venues where conservative commentators speak.
I am mystified as to how this was allowed to happen again. Last year the Portland Police department was ordered to stand down during one of these “protests”. Yet here we are again and the Portland police are nowhere to be found. Except of course on Twitter after the fact when they sent out a tweet asking for people who were hit with the milkshakes to come forward. Carlos Mazza must be proud. I hope some rank and file officers blow the whistle on the brass and tell us that they were ordered to stand down. Otherwise, I’m not sure how much longer I can give them the benefit of the doubt.
When I saw these videos I was horrified. I cannot imagine what goes through the mind of an animal who would do that to someone who poses absolutely no threat to them on any level. Who beats up an old man? What purpose does that serve? What point does that drive home? The message I got from it is that these people are cowards. They do not want to go up against people who really know violence. There are men and women out there who avoid confrontation because they know what true violence is. Anti-free speech thugs don’t want to force someone like that into a situation where they have to defend themselves or someone they love with violence. It will not end well for them.
